God Supports Me!
God Supports Me!

This morning’s time of reflective reading stirred something deep within me. One sentence stopped me in my tracks:

“The fear of your desire not manifesting is your fear of being unsupported in this universe.”

That hit home. Because isn’t that what fear often whispers to us? What if this dream never happens? What if the doors never open? What if I’m left out here all alone? But the truth that rose in my spirit was simple and strong:

I am not unsupported. God supports me. He supports my dreams, my gifts, my vision, and my future.

I began to ponder the word support, and the synonyms I found gave me a picture of what God’s support actually looks like in my life.

  • He endorses me. To endorse means to recommend, and time and time again, God has recommended me. Every board appointment, every speaking engagement, every unexpected open door wasn’t just a coincidence. They were divine endorsements. Someone recommended me, yes, but ultimately, it was God’s favor that put my name in their mouth.

  • He upholds me. To uphold means to maintain support even in the face of opposition. That means God isn’t just with me when it’s easy. He holds me up when things come against me. When resistance shows up, I can rest in knowing that I’m being upheld.

  • He champions me. A champion actively and publicly defends what matters. God defends the mission He gave me. He defends my calling. He backs the vision that He placed in my spirit. That means I don’t have to fight for credibility or prove myself to everyone. God champions me.

  • He bolsters me. To bolster is to strengthen and reinforce. There are days when I feel worn down, uncertain, and scattered. But even then, God is actively reinforcing me; my focus, my mindset, my energy, my health. He is the one who strengthens me from the inside out.

So I ask you:

  • Do you need to be bolstered in some area of your life?

  • Does your thinking need to be reinforced with truth?

  • Does your focus need to be strengthened?

  • Does your health, your courage, your commitment need a lift?

Then lean into this truth: You are not unsupported. Abba supports you.

Let these scriptures seal that truth into your heart:

  • Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV) – “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a future and a hope. ”He has already thought through your future, and it’s good.

  • Proverbs 16:3 (NIV) – “Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans.”Every day, sometimes several times in a day, I recommit my vision, my dreams, and my work to the Lord. He’s the one who brings me stability and success.

  • Philippians 1:6 (NIV) – “Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.” God didn’t just start something in me; He’s committed to completing what He started. That includes my spiritual growth and the unfolding of my purpose in real time.

So today, join me in this affirmation: “I am not unsupported. God supports me.” Let that sink into your heart. Let it push out fear. Let it anchor your soul.

You are seen. You are endorsed. You are upheld. You are championed. You are bolstered.

God’s got you!

Always encouraging reflection,

WandaP
